Emergence is a series of oil paintings and digital works completed for my SVA BFA Illustration senior thesis. I wanted to create a loose story about a supernatural kind of decay. It’s about infrastructure, nature, and people. Decay of man made structures is something that I find so visually interesting because it evokes sadness and beauty at the same time.
